Spring Faith
R. H. Grenville
So swiftly sunlight pierces cloud,
So surely day from night is born,
So faithfully returns the flower,
I wonder that the heart should mourn.
For beauty hidden from our sight
A little while returns again.
No lovely thing is ever lost;
No prayer is ever prayed in vain.
Each springtime sees the snows depart,
The leafless bough renew its bloom,
And, comfort for the whole world's heart,
Christ emerging from the tomb.
Dear Visitors,
WeAreCATHOLICS.com is currently undergoing a brief process of reorganization. All of the material and information previously on our site will be available on the renewed site which will redirect its focus toward the healing of victims and survivors, the protection of children and future generations, and the understanding and awareness of the Catholics and non-Catholics alike of facts and issues that surround clergy child sexual abuse. The renewed site will be launched in March. For questions or comments, please contact us at mail@wearecatholics.com or P.O. Box 638, Geneva, Illinois 60134.
Thank you for your patience.
P. S. In honor of our good friend, Frank Douglas, please consider withholding monetary contributions to the Catholic Church on the weekend of March 14th/15th. Send the Bishops a Message using the only language they speak. For more information, go to sendthebishopsamessage.com.
